e-conomic goes multilingual
As e-conomic’s language specialist – pedantic or even geek some of my number- and code-loving colleagues would say – I am proud to announce the new language selection feature which allows you to try out e-conomic in any of our current 8 application languages:

Is it just me, or isn’t it super cool to switch between languages to find the exact same application expressed in an exotic language like Spanish? |
When we add new languages, you will find them available in the drop-down list to choose from.
Needless to say, an online application containing some 16,000 text strings in 8 languages requires a great deal of accuracy and consistency in terminology management – even for a passionate language control freak like myself.
Each string in the application has been reviewed by a native speaker with local accountancy expertise and cross-checked for consistency.
Nevertheless, the fine art of translation still being a human discipline (thank goodness!), we do occasionally find irregularities, terminology inaccuracies or even translation mistakes in our application text strings.
Should you stumble upon one of these, or if you are just curious about our terminology, I would be very happy if you would add your comment to this blog post.
