    e-conomic online support – the way forward

    When searching for help or support from a company that you work with, do you often find yourself looking for their “Contact us” webpage instead of their FAQ or help articles?

    If so – you’re not alone!  In many cases it can be difficult to find the information that you need, and picking up the phone can be the fastest way to explain your problem and find proper assistance.

    Because of this, for some time the phrase “service and support” was synonymous with “telephone hotline” at e-conomic… but that has long since changed!

    The downsides of telephone support

    Through direct contact with our customers, we soon realized some of the negative aspects of telephone support:

    • It isn’t scalable:  An employee can only support one person at a time on the phone.
    • It has limited hours: Especially if prices are to be kept at a reasonable level.
