As I hinted at in my previous blog post, I truly believe that 2011 will be even greater and even more fun than 2010!

Today, I would like to share why.

The best ever product offerings

In 2011, e-conomic will present some of the best product offerings ever seen in our industry – worldwide!

Not only will we officially introduce our New Journal – the fastest and most flexible Journal for professional users ever – but we will also launch the much anticipated Report Designer in the first quarter of the year.

New GUI (Graphical User Interface)

We will also use our New GUI in order to further strengthen our product offering to our users.

This will be done through a new project whose main focus will be to make it (a lot) easier to become an e-conomic customer!

2011 will bring lots of new and exciting projects at e-conomic!

Looking forward

All in all, 2011 will bring loads of new functionality, enhancements, and products from all parts of our company.  We hope you’ll join us for the ride!

Another year is almost gone, and today I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Looking back

2010 has been a great year at e-conomic.

More than 15,000 companies chose e-conomic this year, and we now have more than 30,000 companies using e-conomic as their preferred accounting solution.

New products and solutions

On top of this, this year we have also introduced our Referral Partner Program and our iPhone App, we have adopted more than 40 medias/channels from which to offer service and support, produced more than 1,000 YouTube help videos in nine languages, and teamed with several major accounting firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG and RSM Tenon.

Further enhancements and opportunities

But even more importantly, this year we introduced the first part of the New Journal (based on the New GUI).

Initial feedback from our customers testing the Journal has been as good as we hoped for.  On top of that, we have also introduced more than 150 small and large e-conomic system enhancements and upgrades.

And, last but not least, we also had a serious upgrade of our hardware which allows us to be more scalable, fast and secure than ever before.

Newest improvements

One of the enhancements in this month’s market package is the addition of a new pop-up for creating an accounting year.  This pop-up will prompt you to create a new accounting year if you do not already have one or if your current accounting year ends within two weeks.

Another enhancement in this market package is in the detection of bounced e-mails. This detection has been massively improved, and allowing e-conomic to detect these much more reliably.

This does not mean that more e-mails will bounce, but rather that you are now alerted to more of them by our system.  This way, you will be better equipped to fix any issue that may be causing your e-mails to bounce.
